The handpan is a rare and expressive steel instrument played with the hands. Shaped like a UFO and tuned to a specific scale, it produces warm, resonant tones that blend rhythm and melody into one. The sound is calming, meditative, and immersive — making it perfect for settings where atmosphere and connection matter: restaurants, yoga studios, galleries, and private events.

Depending on the venue, I may only need to bring my handpan, seat and stand, since it may already be loud (or quiet) enough. I also, have a portable speaker I can bring to amplify the sound when needed. I can play outside in the shade in winter and the better parts of spring and fall, but not summer. Too much heat starts to detune my handpan. It is a very delicate instrument.
