Handpan is my passion.
Healing is my vision.
Connection is my mission.
I’m so motivated and inspired by the love and appreciation I have received for my music. I feel like I’m a part of something much bigger than me when I play – like it’s not about me at all. I show up and play because it is my soul’s desire, not my ego’s. My ego has wanted me to remain hidden my whole life. My soul craves connection, belonging. The more I can bring that to myself and other, the more fulfilled I truly am. I’m happy I get to share authentically the gift that is Me, to the world, and remind others that they are gifts, too.
I got my first handpan, a D Kurd 9 (the classic beginner handpan).
So in love with the handpan, I was eager to get one with a lot more notes. I got my second handpan, an E SaByeD 17 (meaning 17 notes). I opted for a major scale this time.
I started playing handpan as a music therapist at nursing homes. I go once a week as a volunteer to play.
I started playing handpan at local businesses and coffee shops. The one I play most often at is an EESystem Center in Spring, TX.
I have really gravitated towards drums in the last few years. Besides my 2 handpans, I also have an Ocean Drum and a 20" Buffalo-Skin Hand Drum. I love the way I connect to the different drums, and the different healing properties that they have. They each call to me at different times depending on what kind of medicine I need in the moment. Pictured on the right is a Cow-Skin Hand Drum that I tried out at a Wellness Expo.
I can come play at your home or business. I travel around the Greater Houston area (Spring, Woodlands, Conroe, Huntsville, etc.). I do 1hr sets. Send me a message, and I will get back to you!
